Welcome to Project Hope's Blogspot! Journey with the St. Michael's (Sharonville, OH) mission team to St. Gabriel's in New Orleans, LA. where we will attempt to help the parishioners recover from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. We hope to work on 15-20 parishioners homes while we are there.

Dear Lori,
This is Dede, Jake's mom. Thank you so much for putting this together and allowing the St. Columban youth to join with your effort too. The Teen Club time sounds perfect.
I will keep you all in my prayers to stay safe.
Peace,
Dede
Lori:
How are you surviving our heat and humidity? My sister Lois sent me this blog. (I know nothing about blogging - I'm too old!) Please get in touch. Maybe the kids and I could come down to see you and Uncle George and Aunt Elaine while you're here.
I want to know if Fr. Doug evacuated to St. Jean Vianney in Baton Rouge while he had no place to live. If so, we go to that church most Saturday evenings even though we are registered at St. Thomas More. The visiting priest was from St. Gabriel in New Orleans. He was fabulous - a really great character with a lot of charm and a quick wit. He dubbed the evacuees 'pilgrims.'
Your cousin,
Judy
Lori:
It was fun talking to you. I called your Mom. She's great. I got directions off the internet to 4700 Pineda St. You must be at the corner of Pineda and the street you mentioned on the phone. We'll probably come visit Saturday. We'll have to firm up plans later in the week.
Judy
